Grabbing Soother
I think I told you before …. when you wake up in the middle of the night, I go into your room. I pick you up, pick up your blanket, and then pick up your soother and put it in my mouth by the handle to carry it. As I’m carrying you to our bed, while you are groggy and half asleep, you reach out with your left hand, gently take the soother from my mouth and pop in yours.
Last night, your soother wasn’t in my mouth, but with your eyes half closed and your head weaving, you were reaching and grabbing at my mouth where your soother would usually be. Cute silly boy.
Playing & Giggling Before Bed
We were laying in my bed tonight while I was trying to get you to sleep. For a while you weren’t interested in sleeping. You were pretty awake and active. We played a fun game. You put your soother in my mouth. I grabbed it by the handle end and shook my head back and forth. You giggled each time I did it, and shook your head back and forth too. Then you would take it from me, put it in your mouth briefly, then put it back in my mouth. I’d shake my head and you giggled and laughed again. I took a short video on my phone. It was dark, so it is pretty hard to see.
